Michael O'Bryan's PhD research was on the influence of anarchist theory and practice on twentieth-century literature. He is the author of various academic publications on Thomas Pynchon, the occasional blog post about the cultural politics of baseball, and a few pieces on labor organizing. He has been an organizer on several labor and electoral campaigns since 2014.
Michael teaches courses in Advanced Writing on argumentation, expository writing, and political rhetoric. He also teaches "Modern Texts and Contexts" and a first-year seminar on comic books and graphic fiction.
