Ashni Clayton

Ashni Clayton is a sixth year PhD student in English and participant in the women, gender, and sexuality studies graduate certificate program. Her research interests include eighteenth and nineteenth-century British literature, affect theory, feminist literary studies, and the history of reading. Her current dissertation project examines feminized affective reading practices as an early form of feminist resistance in the long nineteenth century.
