Michael Henderson

I am primarily interested in representations of mourning and memory in World War I literature. My research also focuses on tracing the impact of Enlightenment and Counter-Enlightenment thought on the rhetoric of revolution in 20^th century literature. Contemporary phenomenology, philosophy of emotions, and the history of ideas inform my approaches to literary criticism.
