Alumni Update: Judith Bishop, MFA 2004

Judith Bishop (MFA, 2004) has published a second book of poetry, Interval, with the University of Queensland Press (2018)(https://www.uqp.uq.edu.au/book.aspx/1458/Interval). 

Interval was recently named a finalist in the triennial Melbourne Prize for Literature - Best Writing Award "for a published work of outstanding clarity, originality and creativity by a Victorian writer".

Judith's essay "O Brave New World, That Has Such Data In’t (Love and Self-Understanding in an Algorithmic Age)" was published in PN Review 242 (https://www.pnreview.co.uk/cgi-bin/scribe?item_id=10272). A longer version of the essay was a finalist in the 2018 Australian Book Review Calibre Essay Prize. 

Judith will be co-judging the 2019 Australian Book Review Peter Porter Poetry Prize, worth $AUD 8,500.
