MFA alums' essay published in "They Said: A Multi-Genre Anthology of Contemporary Collaborative Writing"

MFA recent grads Elizabeth Brown, Luther Hughes, Caroline Kessler, Ryan Masters, Gabe Montesanti, and Sylvia Sukop have an essay in an anthology that came out from Black Lawrence Press this summer called They Said: A Multi-Genre Anthology of Contemporary Collaborative Writing.

The essay came out of a collaborative writing assignment for the Art of the Essay class two years ago in which the students had to write a collective essay each week in response to the essayist studied that week. Each student had 24 hours to write part of the essay before passing it on to the next student. The essay that is published in the anthology is after Montaigne and it’s called “On Breath."
